The Danish
conference on
Wellbeing Economy

30-31 May 2023
University of Copenhagen

Wellbeing Economy Alliance DK gathers key experts, high level decision-makers, and socially engaged organizations and citizens for a conference on 30th and 31st of May in Copenhagen. The purpose is to explore and discuss the potential of a Wellbeing Economy in Denmark, in the EU and globally.
 
With Wellbeing Economy as a framework and 1,000 expected participants, the conference will open up dialogue across sectors. The conference will be a platform for collaboration concerned with how we can address the linked crises within climate, biodiversity and mental health with a focus on the economic structures that set the framework for our societal development. As a central element, the conference will create space for a public debate on Wellbeing Economy and related topics in the run-up to the EP elections on 9 June 2024.

Part of a global movement towards a Wellbeing Economy 

 

WEAll DK is part of the international Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll) - a collaborative organisation, consisting of experts, decision makers, companies, organizations and citizens that works to promote Wellbeing Economy as a solution framework to the systemic crises.

 

A key initiative within WEAll is the Wellbeing Economy Governments (WEGo) partnership. WEGo is a collaboration of national and regional governments committed to promoting and implementing policies that focus on the wellbeing of people and the planet as a central goal of economic development. The member countries of WEGo currently include Scotland, New Zealand, Iceland, Wales, Finland and Canada.

About Wellbeing Economy Alliance Denmark

WEAll DK is a network of actors across society who work to promote a Wellbeing Economy in Denmark. We see Wellbeing Economy as a positive social vision and framework for solutions that address the connected crises within, among other things, climate, biodiversity, social cohesion and psychological unhappiness. 

The network is self-organised and focuses on knowledge sharing, collaboration and joint initiatives. As the official Danish hub for the global Wellbeing Economy Alliance, WEAll DK bridges Danish and international perspectives.
